Thanks for reading my book! Here are the resources I’ve promised:

Step 1: Download all the resources from the book below!

Chapter 2

Contract To Myself / Why Sheet

Your “Why” for writing this book will become the drive to push you across the finish line. You must “Begin with
the end in mind” and determine your compelling reason for committing to writing this book.

Chapter 5

Mindmap Template

One might wonder why mindmapping is even necessary. First-time authors may find it tedious or boring while other full-time writers might be talented enough to get away with it.

It may not be essential to a successful rough draft, but it makes getting to a refined manuscript a whole lot easier.

Fiction Book Outline Template

Without an outline, it will take a lot longer to finish your book, and it may hinder the book’s quality and reader experience. You may not need a book outline, but it will certainly help you write faster and with better quality.

Think of a book outline as a writer’s plan. When you outline a novel or book, you are creating a plan or roadmap of your book’s contents.

Non-Fiction Book Outline Template

Most non-fiction authors find outlines useful due to the nature of their books. Generally, works of non-fiction require research and citation of sources (although many novels require their own research!).

It can help organize your research so it doesn’t overwhelm you, plus your outline will help you create the best structure for your finished book.

Chapters 9, 10 & 11

Editing Brief Template

Use this editing brief to source at least 3-5 editor options and hire the best one to edit your book.

Title & Subtitle Brainstorm

Coming up with your title and subtitle can be fun, if you let it be. Just stay focused on explaining your book like you’re talking to another human, stay out of Title Land, and make sure your title is bold, clear, and specific.

Cover Design Brief Template

A “design brief” is the best way to get clear on what you’re looking for with your cover. If you do this well, you’ll get much better design options from designers and it’ll make the cover design process easier.

Chapters 12, 14, 15 & 17

Book Formatting List

I can’t recommend enough that you hire someone to do this for you, especially if this is your first book. Don’t waste time trying to format your book yourself: “Who Not How.”

Building Buzz Checklist

When in doubt, share the behind the scenes of your book launch journey and celebrate any milestones you hit along the way.

Launch Team Tracker

One tool that’s really helpful here is the Review Tracker. It’s a simple spreadsheet to keep track of who on your launch team has left a review so you can follow up with everyone else.

Bestseller Fundamentals

It’s always worth it to invest time and money up front to learn the fundamentals. Proper technique and coaching will make your efforts effective and keep you from wasting time.

Chapters 18 & 19

MVP Checklist

The MVP Launch is the most commonly used launch strategy. It can work for nearly anyone and makes it easier to top the bestseller charts and sell books during launch week. MVP stands for “Minimum Viable Product”.

If you have limited time or no audience, the MVP launch packs a punch with the best possible results.

Pre-Launch Checklist

The goal of any book launch is to maximize downloads and purchases during launch week. Launch week is when you build momentum. It’s the jumping off point for your book. The more your book sells during launch week, the more likely it will be successful long term.

Traditional Book Launch Checklist

The Traditional Launch Strategy is best suited for authors who’ve already published a book or authors who have a sizable audience. If you choose this launch method, fully implement the MVP Launch and layer this launch on top of it.

If you’re a first time author, the MVP Launch will likely be more effective.

Chapters 19 & 20

Influencer Reach Out Scripts

A great way to build buzz before and during your launch is to get influencers to post or email their list about your book.

Make this as easy as possible for them (and you) by lining everything up ahead of time.

Review Sweeper E-mails

The most powerful review strategy I’ve created is the “Review Sweeper”. This strategy has brought in hundreds of reviews for my books and it’s my secret weapon for getting a continuous stream of reviews after launch.

The Review Sweeper is a four email autoresponder sequence sent to people who join your email list from your book.
